Adaptive Riding

Adaptive riding, also known as therapeutic riding provides an environment for riders with physical, mental and emotional dsabilities to participate in the equestrian sport while contributing positively to their life.  Horses can benefit individiuals in a variety of ways including their social well being by building relationships, increasing strength and improving their core muscles, promoting responsibility and patience, and a true sense of empowerment.

Bay View Riding Academy provides Adaptive Riding classes on Tuesday's and Saturdays taught by PATH International Instructors.   Classes are individualized to address specific needs of each rider and utilize community volunteers to help mentor and keep riders safe.  Bay View is also the home of the Area 4 Special Olympics Equestrian Team.

Adaptive Riding classes are $20 per class and are 30-45 minutes long.  Bay View is always accepting new riders!
